The client

Protestant Church of Puchheim

The Protestant Church of Puchheim has operated daycare centres in Puchheim near Munich since 1984. Today the organisation encompasses four facilities with over 190 children, 45+ staff members, and 40 years of pedagogical experience.

The four locations — Arche Noah, Regenbogen, Löwenzahn, and Sonnenkäfer — each have their own pedagogical focus: from forest pedagogy to inclusion to early childhood care. United by shared values, 7 quality certifications, and 100% organic catering.

The challenge

Each of the four centres had its own ageing website — different in design, different in upkeep, some not mobile-friendly. Parents couldn't find consistent information about opening hours, fees, or enrolment. The provider had no unified overview.

On top of that: events, news, and job postings had to be communicated across multiple channels. Forms and educational concepts existed only as email attachments. Structure, timeliness, and a digital presence worthy of 40 years of pedagogical work were all missing.

Our approach

In the initial meeting, we listened. What do parents need? What does the provider need? What do the individual directors need? The answer was clear: a central platform that connects everyone — while giving each centre its own space.

We developed a concept that unites consistency and individuality: shared design and navigation, but individual centre sections with their own team, pedagogy, and events. All manageable by the centre directors themselves — no technical skills required.

The solution

A multilingual platform built with Next.js and WordPress as a headless CMS. Each centre has its own section with concept, team profiles, image gallery, events, news, and contact details. The provider has an overarching landing page with quick links, event previews, and job listings.

33 page templates in German and English. Plus a CMS that dynamically delivers events, news, job postings, and downloads — currently over 126 pages live. Everything in one design, everything manageable through one editorial system.
